"How can I adequately indicate how extraordinary the Gamble Mansion setting was for the wedding of our daughter? Not only was the ambiance magical but your supervision and attentiveness to every last detail made it possible for my husband and me to relax totally and be swept along by the majesty of the event.

"Throughout the several months leading up to the wedding, in fact, you provided the kind of reassurance and resources that first-time parents-of-the-bride require. Somehow the Gamble staff seemed to intuit our every wish, dissolve our insecurities, and provide solutions, reassurances, and best of all, results. We have seen some initial photographs taken by friends and family, and the elegance of the Gamble Ballroom, which everyone refers to as a "mini-Versailles," makes us even more thrilled with our selection. What began as a sanctuary, which took on the holiness and illusion of an Eastern European synagogue, was then transformed into a fashionable ballroom that resembled a scene from "My Fair Lady" or an Edith Wharton novel. What more could we wish? All this plus "an authentic Boston experience" that inspired out-of-town guests to stroll down the Commonwealth Avenue mall, enjoy photo-taking in the Public Gardens, or browse along Newbury Street… with the main event still in the offing."
