Rooms
Rental of the Gamble Mansion includes four elegant rooms:

Louis XV Ballroom
Painted in ivory with hand-rubbed gold leaf, the ballroom features a marble fireplace, crystal chandeliers, choir loft and three sets of french doors opening onto a charming, private courtyard off Commonwealth Avenue. The room measures 26' x 52' x 18'

Jackson Fountain Room
An elegant marble room with beautiful frescos and a working fountain.

The Dining Room
A romantic formal dining room with large chandelier and working marble fireplace.

The Library
Warm and rich with mahogany-paneled walls, floor to ceiling bookcases, piano, and a working marble fireplace.

Rates Include

  • Five hours of event time, starting no earlier than 6:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Events must end by 12:00 midnight.
  • Use of site
  • Planning guidance, referrals to vendors and coordination of all deliveries
  • Two Functions staff to oversee the event
  • A room for the bride and groom
  • A "children's room" with a t.v. and vcr

Food, service, and rental of equipment are additional and are provided by our exclusive caterers.


Wedding Ceremonies
Wedding ceremonies may take place at the Gamble Mansion with no additional cost and function staff are available to assist the bride and groom during the ceremony.


Parking
Public parking garages are conveniently located at the Boston Common Garage (Charles Street) and the Back Bay Garage (Boylston Street and Clarendon Street) Valet parking can also be arranged. For directions to the Gamble Mansion, please click here.


Bar Services
All bars must be "open". Liquor may be purchased by the client or ordered through their selected caterer. Bartending services must be provided by the selected caterer. No liquor may leave the premises on the day/evening of the event but rather, pickup arrangements must be made with our Functions Coordinator.
