Make your own San Francisco Sourdough in this hands-on class with the guidance of Michael Kalanty, a Master Bread Baker from San Francisco. You’ll see how easy the steps are to making this flavorful, long-lasting bread in your own home.  Learn tricks to getting the most from your oven as you bake sourdough side-by-side with Chef--we’ll enjoy a light snack in class with our fresh-baked breads. The dough you make in class can be taken home to bake later, once it develops its distinctive flavor. In this class, you will learn professional decorating techniques as well as quick and easy methods to make your cake a work of art. We’ll cover two types of delicious buttercreams (plus a “pratice buttercream”) to develop your skills. First, we'll start with cake prep, crumb crust, and simple decorating techniques: lines, dots, piping leaves & flowers, and writing, before moving on to trims and swags. You’ll even learn some down and dirty tricks of the trade for decorating a cake in just 10 minutes!
