Registering for a Course

 


HOW TO REGISTER

  • Online: Browse our course catalog, read detailed course descriptions and teacher bios, and register online!

  • Phone: Call 617-267-4430 Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.

  • Fax: Download and print a registration form, and fax it to 617-247-3606

  • In Person: Visit us at 5 Commonwealth Avenue! Check our hours before you plan your visit.

Full payment is due upon registration by cash, check, or credit card.

Students enrolling must be at least 18 years of age. There are no exceptions. We apologize for any inconvenience.

COURSE CONFIRMATIONS

The BCAE does not send course confirmations. If you registered via our website, you will receive a confirmation by email. Do no respond to this email as it is automatically generated upon registration.  If you registered by phone, fax, or in person, or have any questions about your course confirmation, please call the BCAE's Student Services Office at 617-267-4430.

SOLD-OUT COURSES

If a class is full at the time of your registration request, you will be placed on a wait list and your payment will be returned to you. If space becomes available, each person on the wait list will be contacted, and the first to respond to our office with full payment at that time will be placed in the course

SUPPLIES AND TEXTBOOKS

Unless otherwise stated, supplies and textbooks are not included in the course fee, and may not be refundable. Please confirm that your course is running before purchasing supplies and textbooks.

SPECIAL SERVICES

The BCAE provides interpreters for the hearing and visually impaired. In addition, both buildings are accessible by wheelchair. If you need an interpreter, please notify Student Services as soon as possible. Advanced notice of at least 72 hours is required for this service. If we are unable to secure an interpreter, we will refund you for the course.

ESL TESTING

All new ESL students must take our Placement Exam. This exam will help us find the best course for you. You can take the exam Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. You do not need an appointment. It’s easy! It’s free! Visit the Student Services office at 5 Commonwealth Avenue, or call 617-267-4430, for more information.

Todos los estudiantes nuevos de inglés deben tomar nuestra prueba de clasificación. Esta prueba nos ayuda determinar las mejores clases para los estudiantes.
